ENROLMENT/ATTENDANCE FEES TO BE PAID BY VISITING STUDENTS
Tuition fees will be exempted for exchange students.

INSURANCE INFORMATION
Exchange students who stay with student visa are obliged to purchase Japanese National Health insurance
after their entrance to Japan.Students residing in the I wing dormitory are required to
purchase designated liability insurance.

VISA INFORMATION
OMU
Global Education of Academic Affairs Division
will provide visa info after issuance of acceptance letter.
1. OMU applies for Certificate of Eligibility (CoE:
necessary doc
uments for visa application) to the local
immigration bureau on behalf of your students.
2. After the issuance of CoE, OMU will send it to the
home institution by e
mail.
3. Your students apply for student visa at the Japanese
embassy in your country.

Required language skills:
- Master’s courses of Graduate School of Informatics have an optional course taught in English.
- If students want an internship in the laboratory, supervision in English is available at both Graduate School of Informatics and Graduate School of Science, and Japanese language proficiency will not be required.
