Basically, exchange students are welcome to choose any undergraduate courses available at Lingnan (except for those courses with course codes start with “CCC”, “LUE” and “GLA”). However, some courses have pre-requisite requirements/major restrictions. Students are advised to pay attention to these requirements. ENROLMENT/ATTENDANCE FEES TO BE PAID BY VISITING STUDENTS
Tuition fees for exchange students studying at Lingnan will be waived according to the bilateral agreement

INSURANCE INFORMATION
Lingnan requires all incoming exchange students to get suitable and adequate insurance covering travel, personal accident, medical expenses (accident and non-accident), hospitalisation and emergency evacuation / repatriation throughout the entire period of your study at Lingnan before their arrival.

HOUSING 
OGE will reserve the student hostel for all incoming exchange students.
- Hostel Fee: HKD7,400 (This is the hostel fee for 2024-25. The amount for 2025-26 is under University review and subject to change)

REQUIRED LANGUAGE SKILLS
Non-native English speakers must have a TOEFL score of 213 (computer-based), 550 (paper-based) or 79 (internet-based), or an IELTS (Academic Module) score of 6.0. We also accept a TOEIC score of 750 with a supporting letter* from home institution or a TOEFL ITP score of 550 with a supporting letter* from home institution.

*the support letter can be issued by your office/faculty members certifying that your student is able to follow classes conducted in English
